Last Friday, things could have been worse for Sweet Grass County, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-6 loss to Broadwater.
Meanwhile, Three Forks/Willow Creek faced Columbus in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Three Forks/Willow Creek's tough 54-30 loss to Columbus on Friday might stick with them for a while. It was the first time this season that Three Forks/Willow Creek let down their fans at home.
Despite the defeat, Three Forks/Willow Creek got a solid performance out of Shane Williams, who rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
The losses dropped Sweet Grass County to 2-7 and Three Forks/Willow Creek to 5-3.
