Tyler Legacy took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Horn. Tyler Legacy has struggled against Horn recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Tyler Legacy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Jones, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gage Nuckolls, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Tyler Legacy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13. As for Horn, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyler Legacy will take on North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Horn, they will be playing at home against Rockwall-Heath at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwall-Heath knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Horn likes a good challenge.
