They strolled past Buckeye Trail with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-34. That's another feather in the cap for Shenandoah, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Shenandoah's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadence Noll, who scored ten points along with four steals. Noll has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emmie House, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Shenandoah has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Buckeye Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Shenandoah will head out on the road to take on Marietta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marietta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Shenandoah in Ohio (Marietta is ranked 41st, while Shenandoah is ranked 456th). As for Buckeye Trail, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Frontier focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
