Pearce has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Makenna Enfinger was another key player, putting up 14 points and six assists.

West Florida Baptist Academy better focus on containing Rebekah Thompson and Kaitlyn Lothringer as the pair were huge in Gulf Pointe Latin's win. Thompson went 10 for 15 en route to 22 points, while Lothringer went 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points along with six boards and four steals. Those 22 points gave Thompson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sarah Litz, who posted eight points and six rebounds.
Gulf Pointe Latin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.9 points per game. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-5.
