After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bunker Hill, Foard was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Iredell Raiders a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Livi Queen and Alexa Stillwell did most of the damage at the plate: Queen got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Stillwell went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
