The Lake Region Lakers will head out on the road to face off against the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Lake Region is ranked 27th, while Gray-New Gloucester is ranked 31st).
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Lake Region had to settle for a 42-39 loss against Wells.
Meanwhile, Gray-New Gloucester earned a 52-42 win over Westbrook on Friday.
Lake Region's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. As for Gray-New Gloucester, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Lake Region came up short against Gray-New Gloucester in their previous matchup back in January, falling 40-35. Can Lake Region avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
