Shane Dunlap made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last three games. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Joey Campana was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Cousino had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Fitzgerald 18-8 on Saturday. The Patriots not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 15-3).
Cousino now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Clawson, their record now sits at 19-7.
