After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cristo Rey St. Martin, the Lake County Baptist Lions were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took down Union Grove Christian 48-30. That's another feather in the cap for Lake County Baptist, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Christopher Reindl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lake County Baptist's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Davis, who scored 11 points.
Lake County Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Union Grove Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Lake County Baptist will be playing in front of their home fans against Quentin Road Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union Grove Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
