It was a proper cat-fight when  Cedar Bluff duked it out with Sand Rock on Monday. The Cedar Bluff Tigers blew past the Sand Rock Wildcats 15-3. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Hunter Stallings made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Stallings was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Isaac Bishop was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole  Three bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kuper Bradley, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Three bases. while going 2-for-3.
Cedar Bluff's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sand Rock, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 4-6.
Cedar Bluff will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sand Rock: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
