Basketball Recap: Giddings Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Giddings). They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Bartlett Bulldogs on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Buffaloes as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Giddings' victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Bartlett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Flatonia the next time they take the court. Bartlett will head out to face Flatonia at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while Giddings will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
