Having just played yesterday, the Everglades Gators will head out on the road to face off against the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. Everglades is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Everglades suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-15 loss at the hands of Coconut Creek.
Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons strolled past Palmer Trinity with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cardinal Gibbons.
Everglades' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
Everglades ended up a good deal behind Cardinal Gibbons in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 48-34. Can Everglades avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
