Reading lost to Union City on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rangers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 11-5 win. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Aubree Ervans, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Reading always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Reading has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Union City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Reading will venture away from home to take on Quincy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union City, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Mendon on the 14th.
