Anderson Filla Turns in Season-Best Performance
Akron was led to victory by Anderson Filla, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Filla rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 15 yards and a touchdown.

Dayspring Christian Academy had to settle for second on Friday, but Elijah Martin sure wasn't going down easily. Martin was unstoppable, rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
