The Sandalwood Saints suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Wolfson by a score of 40-38. Sandalwood has struggled against Wolfson recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Sandalwood still got an impressive performance from Kaden Toure, who scored 12 points. Antonio Hodges was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Sandalwood has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Wolfson, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandalwood and Englewood will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Englewood is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Wolfson will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ridgeview at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
