North Miami Beach lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Vanejia Bryant, who scored seven points along with three steals. Bryant is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Laila Henderson, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Miami to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jadore Hayes , who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 20 rebounds. The matchup was Hayes 's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kindal Glanton, who scored 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
North Miami Beach's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for North Miami, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-10.
North Miami Beach will head out on the road to face off against Mourning at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mourning is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for North Miami, they will take on Northwestern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
