Orange County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Western Albemarle Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Hornets have posted against the Warriors since April 25, 2023.

Faith Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Danica Babcock, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Lovell, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Orange County's record now sits at 15-4. As for Western Albemarle, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
