Beamer entered their tilt with North Thurston on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 58-57 victory over the North Thurston Rams.

Defeat or not, North Thurston got some senior leadership from Kurt Cavalier and Liam Sheeran. Cavalier posted 17 points and six rebounds, while Sheeran put up 12 points and six rebounds. The contest was Cavalier's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jorden Walker was another key player, putting up seven points.

Beamer pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for North Thurston, they moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Beamer will welcome Enumclaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Thurston, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th.
