Northeast Metro RVT's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Zullo, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zullo has scored all season. Kerry Jean was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Northeast Metro RVT's win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Metro RVT will take on Mystic Valley Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, they will be playing at home against Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cristo Rey is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
