The Cardinal Mooney Cougars won the last time they faced the Riverview Sarasota Rams, and things went their way  on Thursday too. Cardinal Mooney enjoyed a cozy  58-44 victory over Riverview Sarasota. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Cardinal Mooney.
  Connor Heald continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 22 points along with two  steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  George Leibold, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Riverview Sarasota still got an impressive performance from   Cole Coggin, who  scored 14 points along with six  rebounds and four  steals. Coggin continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played.  Josh Harris was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with six  rebounds.
 Cardinal Mooney pushed their record up to 10-7 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Riverview Sarasota, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
 Cardinal Mooney on the road again  on Saturday and play against North Port at 1:30  p.m.  on January 13th. As for Riverview Sarasota, they will face off against Imagine School at North Port at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Imagine School at North Port is coming into the  match on a six-game losing streak.
