North Star came tearing into Saturday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Rimrock Raiders with a sharp 30-3 win. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Carlos Guzman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk).
