Despite the loss, Bellville still got an impressive performance from Mackenzie Watson, who scored eight points. Watson scored a full 38.1% of Bellville's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Moulton's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.46 points. As for Bellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Moulton will be playing at home against Schulenburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Schulenburg is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Bellville, they will square off against Brazos at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Brazos comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
