On Friday, West Delaware are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Marion at 7:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
West Delaware was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Wahlert 56-20. The margin was wide but not a surprise since West Delaware are ranked far ahead of Wahlert in the MaxPreps rankings.
Marion had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Washington last week as they made off with a 40-14 win.
Their wins bumped Marion to 1-0 and West Delaware to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
