Watchung Hills Regional entered their tilt with Somerville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

ETHAN CLAYTON and JACOB JACONSKI did most of the damage at the plate: CLAYTON went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI, while JACONSKI got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave JACONSKI a new career-high. BRODY GRIFFITH was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
