The Tipton Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Clinton Prairie on the road to the tune of 76-46. Considering Tipton has won four games by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Tipton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grady Carpenter led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 assists. The game was Carpenter's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Money, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
Tipton pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Clinton Prairie, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1.
Tipton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Western at 11:45 a.m. on December 29th. Western will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 245th, while Tipton is ranked tenth).
