Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech and the Imhotep Charter Panthers squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but sadly Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Panthers on the road  and fell  65-31. While losing is never fun, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 120th, while Imhotep Charter is ranked third).
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Saleem Hudson, who  scored ten points.  Zachary Campbell was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Imhotep Charter, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Imhotep Charter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest, a  64-39  win vs. Executive Education Academy Charter School on the 10th.
