Vista Ridge is 4-0 against the Mustangs since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Vista Ridge Rangers will head out on the road to challenge the Manor Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vista Ridge has four straight victories, the Mustangs have 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Vista Ridge earned a 46-38 victory over the Tigers.
Meanwhile, Manor ended up a good deal behind the Raiders on Friday and lost 53-37. While losing is never fun, Manor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 531st, while the Raiders are ranked 87th).
Vista Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. As for Manor, they dropped their record down to 11-22 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Everything went Vista Ridge's way against the Mustangs in their previous matchup back in January as the Rangers made off with a 61-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vista Ridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
