Centennial has gone 9-1 against Las Cruces recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hawks will welcome the Bulldawgs at 7:00 p.m. Centennial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Centennial is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Organ Mountain, who was ranked 13th at the time (Centennial was ranked 23rd). The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. Centennial's winning goal came courtesy of CHRISTIAN FRANK.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Las Cruces). They came out on top against Alamogordo by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Las Cruces as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Las Cruces, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-8-1.

Centennial beat Las Cruces by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Bulldawgs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
