Despite the loss, El Dorado Christian had strong showings from McKenzie Cole, who scored seven points along with five assists and five rebounds, and Cassie Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. Johnson set a new season high mark in points with 12.
Even though they lost, El Dorado Christian were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
El Dorado Christian bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Overland Christian, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.
