There's no place like home for Holliston, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They never let the Wayland Warriors get on the board and left with  a   7-0  victory  on Thursday.
Not much got past  Emily Hegerich, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Wayland off the board.

Holliston's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Wayland,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Holliston and Wayland will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time the Panthers see the field they'll take on Medfield  at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 29th. As for Wayland, their break will end when they face Acton-Boxborough  at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 28th.
