Landon Kidd posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Shasta: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-8 otherwise.

Shasta's road trip will continue as they head out to face Truckee at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
