Clinton-Massie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against New Richmond, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lions a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

The win was the third in a row for Clinton-Massie, bringing their record up to 4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for New Richmond, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
