Olathe Northwest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jj Lee, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gavin Popik, who scored 19 points.
Lawrence Free State has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Olathe Northwest, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Lawrence Free State will be playing at home against the Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olathe West is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Olathe Northwest, they will challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olathe South is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
