The West Wolfpack's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 57-6 loss at the hands of Lincoln. West has struggled against Lincoln recently, as their matchup last Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jordin Thomas, who rushed for 122 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries. Thomas was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards. Anthony moses Alexander was another key contributor, throwing for 192 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
West's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
West will head out on the road to face off against Tracy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tracy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West in California (Tracy is ranked 96th, while West is ranked 599th). As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
