The First State Military Academy Bulldogs won against the Brandywine Bulldogs last Saturday with 27 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Everything went First State Military Academy's way against Brandywine as First State Military Academy made off with a 27-7 win. The result was nothing new for First State Military Academy, who have now won three matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
First State Military Academy was led to victory by DJ Johnson and Nate Price. Johnson picked up 93 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Price threw for 147 yards and four touchdowns.
First State Military Academy's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points per game. As for Brandywine, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First State Military Academy will square off against Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Early College is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Brandywine, they will head out on the road to face off against Polytech at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Polytech will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
