Chicago Mathematics & Science secured a 35-29 W over Rickover Naval on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chicago Mathematics & Science.
Ayomide Salami continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. That's the first time this season that she posted two or more blocks. Abisola-Gold Popoola was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Chicago Mathematics & Science's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Rickover Naval, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Mathematics & Science will face off against Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rickover Naval, they will head out on the road to face off against Marine Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marine Leadership Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
