Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northumberland). Everything went their way against the Essex Trojans on Thursday as they made off with a 21-11 victory. Braylin Beauchamp made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two triples.
In other batting news, Emma Somers was incredible, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kierra Coleman, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs.
