The Chamberlain Storm had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 21-11 victory over Plant City. That's another feather in the cap for Chamberlain, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Chamberlain to victory were Jesenia Rodriguez and Alyssa Dejesus. Rodriguez scored five points, while Dejesus scored ten points.
Chamberlain is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for Plant City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.
Chamberlain's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Robinson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Storm in Florida (the Knights are ranked 227th, while the Storm are ranked 504th). As for Plant City, they will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully George Jenkins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday.
