The East Carter Raiders can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Fairview 67-11 on the road. With that victory, East Carter brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
East Carter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Savannah Adams led the charge by scoring nine points along with five assists and five rebounds. Adams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Avery Hall was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
East Carter's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Fairview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.
East Carter will be playing in front of their home fans against Elliott County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to challenge Adams County Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairview comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
