Baldwin Park scaled the state rankings by moving to 449 from 564 this week, the biggest jump in Valle Vista. The Braves climbed the ranks as a result of beating Gladstone 21-15.
Wilson lost to Los Altos 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Peter VanDerEb and Christeon Blackmon gave Northview a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. VanDerEb threw for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Blackmon ran for 154 yards. Damien Lavin also contributed to the rushing game with 57 yards on the ground.
VanDerEb and Blackmon gave the Vikings a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week.
Blackmon was the most successful running back in the league this week.
VanDerEb put up the best numbers in passing as Northview beat Rowland. VanDerEb's favorite target this week was Daniel Valencia, who caught 2 passes for 48 yards.
Michael Moran provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Baldwin Park bested the Gladiators. He completed 19 passes for 185 yards and also ran for 100 yards. Moran's favorite target this week was Hector Moran, who caught 6 passes for 66 yards.
Manny Lua was the best receiver in the league this week as Pomona bested Bloomington.
Chris Williams' team's Moran and Jayson Miller have formed a dream team this season, leading Valle Vista in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Moran has thrown for 818 yards this season, while Miller has 16 catches for 302 yards. Marcel Perez's team's Blackmon leads the league in rushing yards with 317.
Nogales and Ontario played the closest game in the league this week, with Nogales eventually emerging with a 24-23 victory.
