Osceola is 10-0 against Harrisburg since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Osceola Seminoles will be playing at home against the Harrisburg Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Osceola knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 16 matches -- so hopefully Harrisburg likes a good challenge.
Even though Manila scored an imposing 79 points on Tuesday, Osceola still came out on top. Osceola snuck past Manila with a 83-79 victory.
Meanwhile, Harrisburg pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-55 to Rivercrest. While losing is never fun, Harrisburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while Rivercrest is ranked 57th).
Despite the loss, Harrisburg saw an underclassman step up: Jakobe Tate scored 17 points along with five rebounds. JP Rowton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Osceola is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Harrisburg, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Everything went Osceola's way against Harrisburg in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Osceola made off with a 67-45 win. Does Osceola have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harrisburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
