The biggest upset of the week belonged to Russell, who took down 71st ranked Russell, 32-28. Rashaun Nelson ran for 159 yards and caught one passes for seven yards in the win.
Mason County and the Red Devils played the most hotly contested game in 3A District 6 this week, with Mason County eventually emerging with a 32-28 victory. Nelson in the win.
Mason County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jake Omara has thrown for 248 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Tee King has 12 catches for 197 yards. Nelson leads the league in rushing with 555 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fleming County takes on East Carter. At the moment, the Panthers are in first, while the Raiders are in fifth.
Lewis County took down East Carter 25-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
