The Life Oak Cliff Lions will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Inspired Vision EAGLES at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Life Oak Cliff is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Inspired Vision in Texas (Life Oak Cliff is ranked 522nd, while Inspired Vision is ranked 1535th).
Last Friday, Life Oak Cliff came up short against St. Stephen's Episcopal and fell 46-33.
Meanwhile, Inspired Vision pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 78-56 walloping at the hands of Robinson.
Despite the loss, Inspired Vision had strong showings from Gabriel Kalala, who scored 24 points, and Tyree Sheffield, who scored 21 points. Sheffield scored a full 37.5% of Inspired Vision's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Frank Ovalle, who scored seven points.
Life Oak Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Inspired Vision, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Life Oak Cliff against Inspired Vision in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 80-39 win. Will Life Oak Cliff repeat their success, or does Inspired Vision have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
