The Enterprise Hornets''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 41-8 loss at the hands of Red Bluff. Enterprise was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Red Bluff apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Red Bluff was led to victory by Jose (chacho) Chavez and Kayden Leaf. Chavez rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns, while Leaf rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
Enterprise's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-4. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Red Bluff, Pleasant Valley, and Redwood. As for Red Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Enterprise will head out on the road to face off against Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Foothill is ranked 302nd, while Enterprise is ranked 307th). As for Red Bluff, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m.
