Wind River will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Rocky Mountain at 7:00 PM. Wind River is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Wind River had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Lovell with a 18-7.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 7-49 loss at the hands of Greybull.
Wind River's win lifted them to 1-0 while Rocky Mountain's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Wind River's success rolls on or if Rocky Mountain are able to steal their positive momentum.
