 In other batting news, Wekiva got a  massive  performance out of  Yamilia Delgado, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Camilla Delgado, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Apopka was handed a two-point  defeat in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ocoee  on Friday. Apopka was the clear victor by  a  13-3 margin over Ocoee.
  Taylor Smith and  Reese Kernz did most of the damage at the plate:  Smith  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI, while  Kernz  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.  Wekiva has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season. As for Apopka, their win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-11.
