AA Region 6 recap October 8, 2013
Christian Stark and Harrison Cook provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lakeview Academy. The connection was good for 63 yards, the longest such play in AA Region 6 this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Greater Atlanta Christian beat Thomson 56-12. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Spartans.
Wesleyan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Stark threw for 105 and 1 touchdown and Cook had 75 yards receiving. On the ground Ollis Robinson contributed 94 yards. Kyler Duley helped Wesleyan's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 14 yards.

Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when Hapeville Charter's Joseph Ross goes up against Wesleyan's Kevin Stipe.
One of AA Region 6's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Franklin Pridgen's team and the Hornets face off next week. Antoine Wilder has dominated opposing QBs with a total of 0.5 sacks, while Stark has 257 passing yards and 4 touchdowns on the season.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Greater Atlanta Christian takes on Westminster. Tim Hardy's team is in first place, while the Wildcats are in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Spartans take on Westminster. Greater Atlanta Christian has allowed 78 points this season, while Gerry Romberg's team has given up 108. The Spartans allowed 12 points last week as they bested the Bulldogs.
