Halls had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Campbell County on Monday. The Red Devils' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cougars an 18-0 shutout. Considering the Red Devils have won six matchups by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Halls' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9.
