The Comer Tigers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Clarke County Bulldogs. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 42-22 win. Comer's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Clarke County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tamyus Pugh. Despite the final result, he rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns.
Comer's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Clarke County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Comer will look to defend their home field on Friday against Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. Reeltown is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. Clarke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
