Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A Region 4 this week, Bogue Chitto beat Resurrection Catholic 48-28. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Cathedral fell to Oak Forest Academy 35-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Larry Sisson and Troy Cobb proved to be unstoppable against Bogue Chitto, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sisson threw for 283 yards and 4 touchdowns and Cobb had 129 yards receiving. Darius Kennedy helped Resurrection Catholic's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 77 yards.
Brock Roberts was a passing and rushing force as Garreth Sartin's team topped Resurrection Catholic. He completed 9 passes for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 221 yards. Roberts' key target this week was Damien Terrell, who caught 2 passes for 61 yards.
Roberts was a force in the backfield as the Bobcats bested Scott Sisson's team.
Javier Chavis made the biggest impact on defense this week as Lumberton lost to Stringer. He pulled down 1 interception.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Green Wave's Thomas Garrity and Jardarius Anderson have proven to be a lethal combination. Garrity has thrown for 2,812 yards this season, while Anderson has 66 catches for 1,187 yards. The Red Devils' Tevin Moore leads the league in rushing yards with 1,397.
Bogue Chitto's Roberts is a mere 93 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 115 carries Roberts has accumulated 907 yard this year.
The Bobcats' offense has racked up 332 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Bulldogs have allowed only 111 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hinds County Agricultural takes on Bogue Chitto. As it stands, michael fields' team is in third, while the Bobcats are in first.
