In what's become a running theme this season, the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  101-18 victory over Eagleton College & Career Academy at home. Gatlinburg-Pittman is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 14 straight.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gatlinburg-Pittman to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Nya Burns, who  scored 23 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Burns has scored all season.  Maddy Newman was another key contributor,  scoring 21 points.
 Gatlinburg-Pittman is  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they are  on a seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-8.
 Gatlinburg-Pittman will head out on the road to  take on  the Tornadoes at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Alcoa is on a four-game streak of home wins, the Highlanders a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Eagleton College & Career Academy will take on the Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
